MICAH Fund: Minority Infant & Children Adoption Help

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1:27)

Each year 125,000 adoptions take place in the United States of America. Unfortunately, only a few thousand of these children are adopted by Bible-believing, Christ-honoring families. Today, there is an inordinately high percentage of minority infants waiting for adoption. Many women are denied private adoption services because their babies are classified as "minorities." We believe that, as adopted children in God's family, believers should be the first to reach out to these children. God calls the church to be actively involved in helping the fatherless.

What We Do
The MICAH FUND provides financial assistance for qualified Christian adoptive parents, who live in Minnesota, for the payment of fees to those agencies that are committed to providing quality services to birth parents, their children, and the prospective Christian parents. Since 1989, the MICAH FUND has helped place over 225 children into loving Christian homes.

Your Role
Your family may be one God is calling to love a child through the blessing of adoption, or you may be called to join us in the task of providing the funds necessary to help those called to adopt. It is our desire to challenge each believer to take James 1:27 to heart and invest in the life of a child.
