Instrumental Worship: Make a Joyful Noise
Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." (2 Chronicles 5:13)
Instrumental Worship
Our desire is that through the artistic use of instrumental music, God would get more glory. Musical instruments can help inspire listeners to a greater awareness of the greatness of our God in mind and heart. The Old Testament is full of references to using musical instruments to express praise to God. Our desire is to see instrumental music used to accompany corporate singing, glorify God through the artistic expression of instrumental music, and fulfill the biblical mandate to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord".
Treasuring Christ Together Orchestra
The TCT Orchestra is a full orchestral ensemble committed to uniting instrumentalists from all three Bethlehem campuses in four non-Sunday seasonal worship celebrations (DG National Conference, Christmas Festival, Black History celebration, and Sacred Oratorio), and to affirm our commitment to expressing our worship through a wide range of historic, current, and cross-cultural expressions of instrumental praise. The orchestra is open to high school level players and above. No audition required. Rehearsals will be on Thursday evenings and are scheduled 6-8 weeks prior to each seasonal celebration.
