Electronic Giving

God is to be honored with the first of all our wealth, even though the means by which we express that honor may differ in various cultures and generations. For example, most 21st century Americans no longer bring animals or farm produce to place in our church's offering baskets, just as 18th century Swedes did not often include checks, stock certificates, or real estate deeds in their offering collections.

Recurring or One-Time Electronic Contributions
Since many people choose to conveniently pay their mortgage or utility payments each month through automatic withdrawals from their checking or savings accounts, Bethlehem also provides regular givers the opportunity to have a portion of their tithes and offerings deducted automatically from a pre-arranged account using the ACH system or with a credit card. If you would like to arrange for automated recurring or one-time donations, you can do so in one of two ways:

Option #1: Use the Online Giving Page for ACH or Credit Card Giving

Bethlehem allows giving via credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. However, we strongly caution you not to use this option unless you plan to pay off your card in full each month -- we are debt-averse at Bethlehem, and do not want to contribute to anyone else going into debt.

Use our online giving page to set up recurring or one-time giving via check or credit card. This requires you to log into Bethlehem's Fellowship One system with your own user account. If you have not yet set up your user account on our site, you will be asked to create one before you can give online. Once you set up your user account, it will take our staff a day or two to verify your information and give you access to your household's contribution history. You can, however, begin giving immediately without waiting for verification of your account.

Option #2: Setting up Monthly ACH Withdrawal from a Checking Account by Mail

  • Download, print, and complete Bethlehem's Automatic Withdrawal Authorization form
  • Attach a voided check or savings deposit ticket of the account that will be debited monthly
  • Mail both to Bethlehem's Financial Secretary (Paul Johnson) at:
