Children from Preschool through 8th Grade
Children (Preschool-4th Grade)
The Bible, the Word of God, is the ground and guide for educating our children at Bethlehem. We prayerfully work to:
- Impart the truth by acquainting children with the whole Bible, presenting the Bible as a revelation of the character and work of God and encouraging children to develop a Biblical mindset and a Christian worldview
- Encourage faith by encouraging children to trust in the character and promises of God, leading children to recognize their sinful state and to respond in repentance and faith in God, and cultivating a love for the Word and a habit of interacting and responding in faith and obedience to the Word
- Lead children to actively participate in the purposes of God by helping children to see the hand of God at work in the world, and encouraging children to recognize and use their spiritual gifts for the good of the body and the world.
Youth (5th-8th Grade)
Our programming on Sundays and Wednesdays points students to Christ through teaching, worship and small group interactions. Students in 5th-8th grade are in the "transition years", going from being a child to becoming a young adult. This age group has special events throughout the year such as retreats and camps that are planned to help guide them through these transition years.
Out of love and concern for the children in our care, all of our volunteers go through an application process which included a background check. We also have a check-in system for security. If your child is 2nd grade or younger, please escort them to their classroom. Learn more about checking your children in at the Downtown Campus or checking your children in at the North Campus.
We ask all families to register for Nursery, Sunday School and Wednesday night programming. You can fill out a family registration form on-line. If you would rather, you can print out a form and mail it in to us.
